These TERMS & CONDITIONS (from now on mentioned as "Terms") govern your use of the website www.itourflorence.com® (from now on mentioned as "Website") and all associated offers. The Website is not responsible for a death, personal injury, loss or damage to people or personal belongings. The Website is not responsible for any injury, loss, delay, or inconvenience caused, by outer forces or other events that are beyond its control and will, or which are not predictable by reasonable diligence by the Website, such as wars, floods, severe weather phenomena, deceases, pandemics, third parties negligence, et cetera. Travel Insurance is highly recommended to cover cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances or those beyond your control (flight delays, weather, theft, injury, et cetera). Also, are strongly ecommended: medical and personal insurances to cover medical and/or hospital expenses, emergency flights, and/or loss of baggage or personal belongings. Audio earphones, if employed, are property of the Website: their use is strictly related to the purpose of the tour in action, and they must be integrally returned to the guide at the end of the tour. Their appropriate use is under the responsibility of the customer during the tour or experience. Any damage, miss-use or loss of the audio headset will be charged as per a cost correspondence of EUR 70 per unit.

Language
Any tour or experience purchased from the Website, unless otherwise specified, is run in English language.
Cancellation & Refund policy
​
For tours paid directly through the Website, cancellation is flexible, and it must be notified in writing via email to the Website within 48 hours prior to departure of the tour or experience to receive a full refund, minus a fixed cost of 15% per transaction to cover transactions’ costs. If cancellation is less than 48 hours before the departure, no refund will be granted as the reservation is considered confirmed. Refunds will only be granted in accordance with our cancellation policy. When a booking is confirmed, you will receive details on meeting location/s and start times. Changing the name employed for reservation is free of charge; changing the date of the tour is subject to availability and to payment of a fixed fee of €20 per person for The Best Of Florence and €50 per person for any other experience. If any, all prepurchases, entrance tickets, and/or optional service are not refundable. It is strongly recommended to show up at the meeting point indicated on the Website voucher at least 20 minutes before the starting time, we cannot guarantee you will find your guide or vehicle for transportation if you fail to reach the meeting point on time. No refund will be issued to the client/s who will not show up at the agreed meeting point and time, or are unable to join the tour due to late arrival. Similarly, no reimbursement will be given to the client/s who lose contact with the guide during the tour, or who do not complete the experience purchased for any reason.
Cancellations by the Website

The Website reserves the right to cancel any tour or service, with no fees or penalties, in the unlucky event of circumstances beyond its control when in some cases, where needed, it is not reached the minimum number of participants: when the number of participants exceeds the number of seats or places available on the Website vehicle or on private experience; when another vehicle is not available for any reason; when the availability of an optional service/s is not possible as reservation cannot be made for any reason, or museum’s ticket/s are sold out and ticket/s cannot be pre-purchased; when a tourist guide is not available. In this case, the Website is responsible for contacting the client, offer an alternative date and time, or cancel the tour and/or the optional, and refund the entire amount. In the unlikelihood of unpredictable events (strikes, road conditions, bad weather, etc.) the Website may change the itinerary with alternative solutions while maintaining the duration and quality of the service.
Booking & Payment Policy

At the time of booking, 30% of the total cost of the service is charged. A confirmatory receipt will be shared via email as soon as the booking process has been ended successfully and the amount accredited on the Website bank account has been verified. For all tours, usually, a maximum of 3 working days waiting time (Italian time), from the time of booking, might be needed for full confirmation of the tour, as confirmation is subject to availability of the tour guide, and/or seats on the vehicle or availability of place in private experiences, the minimum number of participants, optional service/s availability, and/or availability of tickets for any museum’s entrance, if any, et cetera. In case a tour and/or optional service/s booked cannot be run, the Website is responsible to contact the client and offer an alternative starting time and/or date, or a full refund.
Effective Date: the date and time on which you accept these Terms, whichever is earlier.
Under 18
​
All under the age of 18 cannot book or buy, and/or join any tour and/or optional experience offered by the Website unless they are accompanied by a parent or a relative over 18 years of age. The Website declines any responsibility if any person buys any tour and/or any optional service on the website under false name, generality, or identity. If required, age needs to be proved, sharing a copy with the Website via e-mail, at the time of meeting the guide or driver, in the form (original or digital copy) of a passport, driver’s license, valid student cards, etc. or shown at any booked entrance.
Last-minute bookings

The Website always strives to deliver every single service that has been booked. In the events of "last-minute" bookings, it cannot be guaranteed that the service can be delivered due to a lack of availability of tourist guides, vehicle, optional services, and/or tickets. In these likelihoods, the Website is responsible to contact the customer and offer an alternative solution, a new starting time and/or date, or a full refund. The customer is always welcome to text (via WhatsApp), write an e-mail, or call the Website office number before proceeding with a "last-minute" booking to secure the tour or service.
Customer Delay
If you will be delayed for any reason, it is your responsibility to contact our office mobile number (+39 329 7443000) or write an email to info@itourflorence.com specifying on the email Subject section "Delay for tour experience". We cannot guarantee that a re-scheduled pick-up time or day will be possible and at no additional charge for last-minute cancellations. Changing the time and the date of the tour is subject to availability and to payment of a fixed fee of €20 per person for The Best Of Florence and €50 per person for any other experience.
Complaints

Any complaint must be communicated in writing to the Website via email within 5 working days after the date of the service. The Court of Florence will settle disputes that cannot be sorted out amicably.

The Website offers primarily professional services in realizing tourist packages in accompanying single people or groups of people for touristic experiences with the aim of illustrating the historical, artistic, monumental, landscape attractions, as well as the productive resources of the territory as food, beverages, arts, crafts, traditions. Prices are calculated and based on agency’s costs and costs for realizing tourist packages, plus a markup. The Website reserves the right to change the mentioned prices based on any changes made by any source described above calculated as by law. The advertising and information material on the professional services offered contain an indication of the relative prices. There are not applied prices higher than those advertised and paid. The Website transportation service is intended as private, not public. The Website’s vehicle is at the disposal of its clients when it is available and where it is implied the need of transportation, it is not a service on payment. The unit price of the basic package that implies transportation with the vehicle of the Website does not vary between the customer who uses the transportation vehicle of the Website and the customer who does not use it. Transportation implied by the Website is not to be intended as Taxi or NCC service and cannot enter ZTL cities' areas. Your use of this website and its offers are governed by and subject to these Terms. By using the services made available on this website you are indicating your agreement to be bound by all these Terms. The content on this web site and these Terms, are subject to change or updating by the Website at any time without prior notice. The changes may include superseding terms and conditions or specific notices. You should review these Terms from time to time to be aware of any changes that are made.
